Ingredients
- 300 gms Fish Fillets (boneless (cod/salmon or any other fish of choice))
- 1 Red Chilli (small, finely chopped, seeds removed)
- 1/4 cup Capsicum (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup Parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 Egg
- Salt as per taste
- Black Pepper Powder as per taste
- Butter as required
- 2 tbsp Spring Onions (finely chopped)
To Serve:
- Burger Buns (halved, toasted)
- Lettuce (shredded)
- Tomatoes (sliced)
- Onions (sliced)
- Mayonnaise
- Dijon Mustard
Instructions
- Finely chop the fish fillets and transfer to a bowl.
- Add the red chillies, spring onions, capsicum, salt, pepper powder and parsley.
- Break the egg into the pan and mix well.
- Using wet hands, shape the mixture into burger patties.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium flame.
- Fry the prepared patties on both sides until golden and slightly browned.
- Do not cook them for long or they will become dry.
- Apply mayonnaise and mustard on the buns.
- Place some lettuce leaves on one half of the bun.
- Place one of the cooked patty on top.
- Top up with sliced on tomatoes and onions.
- Cover with the other half and serve at once with fries.
