Paasi Paruppu (Moong Dal) – 200 gms, soaked for 30 minutes
Coconut – 2 tsp, grated
Mustard Seeds – little
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
Curry Leaves – few, chopped
Oil as required
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Salt as per taste
1. Pressure cook the dal for 1 whistle and remove.
2. Heat little oil in a pan.
3. Fry the mustard seeds till it splutters.
4. Add curry leaves, dry red chillies and asafoetida powder.
5. Drain the dal and add to the pan.
6. Add salt and coconut.
7. Mix well.
