Sprouted Green Grams (Mulaikattiya Pachai Payaru) is rich in proteins, fiber and vitamins. A traditional South Indian sundal variety, this is made during navratri festival and also as an evening snack for kids and adults alike.
Sprouted Green Gram Sundal (Pachai Payaru Sundal)
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sprouted Green Gram pressure cooked
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- pinch Asafoetida Powder
- few Curry Leaves
- Oil as required
- 4 Dry Red Chillies - 4
- 1/4 cup Coconut grated
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
- Add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida powder and dry red chillies.
- Fry for 30 seconds and add the cooked green gram.
- Add coconut and salt.
- Stir to mix well.
- Serve in small cups.
