Malabar Shrimp Fry Recipe

Malabar Shrimp Fry
Ingredients:
Shrimps – 1 kg, jumbo, cleaned
Onion – 2, thinly sliced
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tblsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tblsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 tblsp
Black Pepper – 1/2 tblsp, powdered
Oil – 8 to 10 tblsp
Green Chillies – 5, slit
Curry Leaves – handful
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Mix the chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, powdered pepper and salt in a bowl.
2. Marinate the shrimps with this paste and keep aside.
3. Transfer the marinated shrimps to a pan and cook for 15 minutes.
4. Remove from pan when it becomes dry.
5. Heat oil in a pan.
6. Saute onions till light brown and remove.
7. Add the shrimp and fry till brown.
8. Add the onions and reduce heat to low.
9. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
10. Remove and transfer to a serving bowl.
11. Garnish with green chilli and curry leaves.
12. Serve hot.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
