Drumstick Masala is a beloved dish that brings the authentic flavors of Indian home cooking right to your kitchen. The mild, nutty taste of drumsticks pairs beautifully with the spiced coconut gravy, creating a curry that’s both comforting and exciting. I learned this recipe from my grandmother, and it’s become my go-to dish when I want something special yet simple.

About the Recipe

This recipe transforms humble drumsticks into a mouthwatering curry. The magic lies in the freshly ground spice paste, which creates deep layers of flavor. The tomatoes and shallots add a natural sweetness, while the coconut brings richness. It’s an easy recipe that delivers restaurant-style results with basic ingredients.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Can I make this recipe less spicy?

Yes. just reduce the red chili powder amount or skip it entirely. The other spices will still give plenty of flavor without the heat.
