Ingredients:
White Fish – 250 gms, cubed
Oil – 1/4 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tblsp
Fried Onion Paste – 1 1/2 tblsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 3/4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Yogurt – 1/4 cup
Dry Red Chillies – 1
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Leaves – 1 tsp, dry
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan over moderate flame.
2. Add the fenugreek seeds and red chillies.
3. Fry till they turn black.
4. Remove and discard the seeds and chillies.
5. Reduce flame to low.
6. Add all the other ingredients and fry till the masala separates from oil.
7. Add the fish pieces and cook over low flame till tender and gravy has thickened.
8. Serve hot with rice.
