Lamb and Vegetables in Coconut Milk
Lamb – 500 gms, tender
Mixed Vegetables – 1/2 cup
Coconut Milk – 1/4 cup thick + 1 1/2 cups thin
Cinnamon – 2 one inch sticks
Cloves – 6
Green Cardamoms – 2
Black Peppercorns – 3/4 tblsp, powdered + 5 whole
Onions – 1/4 cup, sliced
Green Chillies – 3, slit lengthwise
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tblsp
Maida – 1/2 tblsp
Curry Leaves – few
Oil – 2 tblsp
Salt – little
Vinegar – 1 tblsp

1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamoms and saute them.
3. Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and curry leaves.
4. Saute well and remove.
5. Keep aside.
6. To the same pan, add the flour, lamb pieces and fry slightly.
7. Add 1/2 tblsp vinegar, salt and thin coconut milk.
8. When the lamb pieces are half cooked, add the vegetables and the reserved onion mixture.
9. Cover with a lid and cook till the gravy is reduced by half.
10. Add the remaining 1/2 tblsp vinegar and thick coconut milk.
11. Simmer and bring to a boil.
12. Remove the pan and add black peppercorns.
13. Serve hot.
