Mor (Curd) Cake


Curd Cake
Rice Flour – 1 cup
Sour Curd – 1/2 cup
Mor Milagai (Sun dried Chillies) – 2
Dry Red Chillies – 1
Ginger – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal – 1  tblsp
Chana Dal – 1 tblsp
Curry Leaves – few
Oil – 1/4 cup
Salt as per taste

1. Combine curd with salt and rice flour.
2. Mix well without any lumps.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Add dry red chillies, mor milagai and mix.
5. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and ginger.
6. Mix well.
7. Add the curd rice flour mixture and stir.
8. Cook for a few minutes and transfer to a greased plate.
9. Allow it to cool and cut into desired shapes.
10. Serve with idli molagai podi (idli powder).
