Gundruk and Sinki Soup

Gundruk/Sinki – 50 gms
Onion – 1 large, chopped
Tomato – 1 large, chopped
Dry red chilli – 2 pods
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp

1. Soak gundruk/sinki in water for 10 minutes.
2. Fry chopped onions with tomatoes and chillies till the onions get golden brown.
3. Add the drained and soaked gundruk/sinki to the fried onions, add turmeric powder and salt.
4. Cook the mixture with 2 cups of water for 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot with cooked rice.
