Cocktails were originally blended with swizzle sticks until the glass became frosted.
Ingredients:
- Dark Rum – 1 part
- Lime Juice – 1/2 part
- Sugar Syrup – 1/4 part
- Angostura Bitters – a dash or two
- Ice
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend well until frothy and partly frozen.
- Pour into an iced tumbler filled with ice, as desired.
- Serve with a swizzle stick.
