Rice powder: 2 cups
Sambhar powder: 2 tbsp
Chilli powder: 1 Tbsp or as per your taste
Salt to taste
Tamarind pulp: 2 tbsp
Pinch of hing
For the Seasoning:
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad Dal: 1 tsp
Chana Dal: 1 tsp
Curry leaves: 2 strips
Red Chillies 2-3
Oil 4 tbps
In a bowl mix all items mentioned under Ingredients and make it in form of dough.
Do not make the dough too tight nor too watery.
Add little little water and make the dough.
In a pan, Heat oil and add the seasoning ingredients.
Once the dals become little brown. add the dough into the pan and break it.
Keep poking the dough till it become coarse.
Now close the pan and keep for 5 mins.
Keep sauteing till the rice powder cooks well.
Can be eaten as a evening snack.
