Ingredients:
Coconut – 5 tsp, grated
Roasted Gram – 5 tsp
Garlic – 1
Onion – 1, small
Tamarind – a small ball
Salt as per taste
Green Chillies – 2
Oil as required
Mustard Seeds – little
Urad Dal – 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Method:
1. Grind together the coconut, roasted gram, garlic, onion, green chilli, salt, tamarind and enough water to a smooth paste.
2. Heat 1 tsp oil in a small frying pan.
3. Fry the curry leaves, mustard seeds and urad dal for 30 seconds.
4. Pour over the chutney.
5. Serve with idli or dosa.
