Lady Fish Curry

Ingredients:
Lady Fish – 12, whole, cleaned
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
Onion – 1, large, chopped
Garlic Cloves – 6, chopped
Dried Red Chillies – 6, large
Coconut – 4 tblsp, freshly grated
Oil – 1 tblsp
Curry Leaves – 8
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Rub turmeric and a little salt into fish and marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Except curry leaves and oil, grind all the ingredients to a thick consistency.
3. Heat oil in a flat pan on medium heat.
4. Add the ground masala and fry lightly.
5. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
6. Lower heat.
7. Add marinated fish along with marinade, curry leaves, 2 cups of water and salt.
8. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until fish is done.
9. Serve with plain rice.
