Ingredients:
Rice Flour – 2 cups
Besan Flour – 1/2 cup
Cumin Seeds – 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 3 to 4, chopped
Curry Leaves – 5 to 6
Moong Dal – 2 tsp
Chana Dal – 2 tsp
Kopra – 2 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying
Butter – little, melted
Method:
1. Coarsely grind the cumin, green chillies, curry leaves and salt together.
2. Soak the dals in water for 10 minutes.
3. Drain.
4. Mix the flour with the rest of the ingredients (including the soaked dals) and add water to make a dough.
5. Make balls of the mixture.
6. Shape them into triangles or circles or any other desired shapes.
7. Deep fry in hot oil over medium flame till golden.
8. Remove and drain.
9. Serve as a snack.
This can be stored for upto 10 days.
