Kaikari Bonda

Potatoes – 3
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Green Chillies – 4, chopped
Onion – 1, chopped
Carrot and Beans – 1 cup, finely chopped
Peas – 1/2 cup
Chana Dal Flour – 1 cup
Rice Flour – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

1. Boil potatoes, peel and mash well.
2. Heat oil in a kadai.
3. Let mustard seeds splutter. Add green chillies and onion.
4. Saute.
5. Now add all the vegetables and cook in a little water for a few minutes.
6. Add mashed potatoes, required salt and saute together for a few minutes.
7. Cool the mixture.
8. Divide into small balls.
9. Keep aside.
10. Mix chana dal flour, rice flour, chilli powder and required salt with water to prepare a batter as for bajji.
11.Heat oil in a kadai.
12. Dip each vegetable ball in the batter and deep fry to a golden brown colour.
