Kingfish Cake

Kingfish – 2, medium size
Onion – 1, small size
Tomato – 1, small size
Green chilli – 1
Garlic – 2 cloves
Ginger root – 1 inch piece
Lemon juice – 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves – a few, chopped
Egg – 1, beaten
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste

1. Boil the fish in salt after it is cleaned. Once done, allow it to cool and then remove the flesh and keep aside.
2. Chop the chillies, garlic and coriander leaves and along with the tomatoes and the onions, mix with the fish and make small balls.
3. Dip them in the beaten egg and then coat with the breadcrumbs.
4. After letting them rest for 30 minutes, fry till golden brown.
5. Serve hot with ketchup.
