A delicious and healthy milkshake with strawberries and oats ideal for breakfast. Can also be served on a hot day or evening thirst quencher.
Oats – 1 cup
Strawberries – 15 to 18, hulled, chopped
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar as required
Almonds and Pistachios – few, chopped, to garnish
1. Lightly roast the oats in a pan for a minute.
2. Transfer to a blender.
3. Add the strawberries, sugar, milk and blend well until smooth.
4. Remove and transfer to a serving glass.
5. Garnish with the nuts and serve at once.
Note: If you want it to be chilled, add some ice cubes or keep it in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours before serving.
