Amongst some, Scotland’s capital has the reputation of being somewhat prim and prissy. You would never guess this, judging by the alcoholic potential of this particular cocktail.
Ingredients:
- Angostura Bitters – 2 dashes
- Whisky – 4 parts
- Apricot Brandy – 1 part
- Crème de Menthe – 1 part
- Dry Vermouth – 2 parts
- Ice Cubes
- Mint Leaves
Method:
- Quarter fill a bar glass with ice cubes.
- Shake the bitters over the ice and add the other ingredients.
- Stir thoroughly and then strain into a lowball glass, over an ice cube.
- Garnish with the mint.
- Serve.
