A fiery, spicy and tasty pickle. Best with curd rice.
Ingredients:
Green Chillies – 250 gms
Salt – 50 gms
Mustard Powder – 50 gms
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Saunf – 1/2 tsp
Omam – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon – 1
Method:
1. Slit the green chillies lengthwise.
2. Mix salt, mustard powder, turmeric powder, saunf, omam and asafoetida powder with lemon juice.
3. Stuff the green chillies with this mixture.
4. Keep the stuffed chillies under the sun for 5 to 6 days, shaking the vessel twice each day.
5. Store in an airtight container.
6. Use as desired.
