Honey Barbecued Chicken Wings

Ingredients:
Chicken Wings – 10, chopped, wing tips discarded
Honey – 1/4 cup
Tomato Ketchup – 2 tblsp
Garlic – 1 clove, crushed or minced
Olive Oil – 1/2 tblsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tblsp
Orange Juice – 1 tblsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tblsp
Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Worcestershire Sauce – 1/2 tsp
Dijon Mustard – 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – a pinch
Tabasco Sauce – 1 or 2 drops

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Saute the garlic for 30 seconds.
3. Add ketchup, honey, lemon juice, orange juice, ginger, vinegar and soy sauce.
4. Stir gently.
5. Add worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, pepper powder and tabasco sauce.
6. Boil for a minute or two and reduce flame.
7. Simmer for 10 to 5 minutes and remove from flame. Cool.
8. Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag and add the honey mixture, reserving 3 to 4 tblsp for basting.
9. Seal the bag and gently toss till the chicken wings are evenly coated.
10. Place it in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
11. Remove, drain and discard the marinade.
12. Transfer the chicken wings to a baking pan and place it in a preheated oven at 400F/200C.
13. Bake for 10 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved honey mixture.
14. Remove when the chicken wings are browned and juices run clear.
15. Remove, cool and serve.
