Ingredients:
Green gram dal - 200 gms
Gram dal - 200 gms
Ghee - 200 gms
Grated jaggery - 500 gms
Cashewnuts - 25 gms
Charoli - 25 gms
Grated coconut - 1/2
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Saffron essence - 1/4 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Method:
1. Soak both the dals for a few hours in water and drain.
2. Grind to a paste.
3. Fry the nuts and pound coarsely.
4. Also, fry the coconut.
5. Heat 100 gms of ghee and fry both the dals to a golden colour.
6. Put 1 cup in jaggery and prepare a syrup. Add all the above ingredients and keep on stirring till the mixture turns thick.
7. Serve hot.
