Cornflakes and Nuts Chivda



Cornflakes – 1 cup
Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Cashewnuts – 10
Raisins – 10
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds – little
Curry Leaves – little
Ghee – 2 tsp
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Fry the cornflakes and peanuts, separately, and remove.
3. Add ghee to the pan.
4. Fry the mustard seeds and curry leaves for 20 seconds.
5. Add turmeric powder, cashewnuts, raisins and fry for 45 seconds.
6. Add salt, sugar, red chilli powder, peanuts, cornflakes and mix well.
7. Remove after 30 to 45 seconds.
8. Serve at once.
