Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 250 gms, soaked for 15 minutes
Cabbage – 250 gms, finely chopped
Onion – 1
Green Chillies – 3, chopped
Curd – 3 tsp
Coconut Milk – 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
Oil – 3 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Grind together:
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Garlic – 6 to 10 cloves
Bay Leaf – 1
Clove – 1
Cardamom – 1
Method:
1. Heat oil and ghee in a pan over medium flame.
2. Saute the cabbage and onions for a minute or two.
3. Add 1 tsp of the ground paste, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt.
4. Stir well and add coconut milk.
5. Pour 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
6. Add the basmati rice and stir well.
7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook till the rice is done.
8. Remove and serve hot.
