Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 250 gms, soaked for 15 minutes
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 to 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 4, finely chopped
Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
Mint Leaves – handful, chopped
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Tomatoes – 2, finely chopped
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Bay Leaf – 1
Saunf – 1/4 tsp
Cloves – 2
Cardamoms – 2
Curd – 2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Oil -3 tsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil and ghee in a pressure pan over medium flame.
2. Add bay leaf, cloves, cardamom and saunf.
3. Stir-fry for a minute.
4. Add onions, ginger garlic paste, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder.
5. Stir to mix well.
6. Add curd and mix again.
7. Pour 2 cups of water and add the rice.
8. Cover the pan with a lid and cook till the rice is done.
9. Remove and serve hot.
