Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Javvarisi (Sago/Sabudana, lightly roasted)
  • 1/4 cup Fried Peanuts (chopped)
  • 1 cup Thick Curd
  • 1/4 cup Coconut (grated)
  • 1 Potato (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger (peeled, finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Urad Dal
  • Mustard Seeds (a pinch)
  • Oil (as required)
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  • Wash javvarisi thoroughly and drain excess water.
  • Mix javvarisi with curd and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Add peanuts, salt, and coconut to the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry urad dal and mustard seeds for 30 seconds.
  • Saute green chillies, ginger, and onions until golden.
  • Add mashed potatoes and javvarisi mixture, cook for 5 minutes.
