Ingredients for Chilli Parotta
10Parotta (Plain Paratha)chopped into small pieces
1/2cupMaida (Plain Flour)
3/4cupCorn Flour
a pinchRed Edible Colour
1tspRed Chilli Powder
1Onion finely chopped
2Green Chilliesfinely chopped
a small pieceGingerfinely chopped
1Capsicum slice
5 to 6Garlic Clovesfinely chopped
Oil as required
Salt as per taste
How to make Chilli Parotta
Heat little oil in a pan over medium flame.
Saute the onions, green chillies, capsicums, ginger and garlic for a minute.
Remove and keep aside.
Add 1/2 cup of corn flour, salt, food colour to maida.
Add enough water and mix well to a dosa batter consistency.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium.
Add the chopped parathas to the batter and fry in hot oil.
Remove and keep aside.
Heat little oil in a pan over medium flame.
Add the onions, green chillies, ginger and garlic.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Add red chilli powder, fried parottas and mix well.
Add little water to the remaining corn flour and add to the pan.
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the capsicums and remove after a minute.
Serve with onion raita or curd pachadi or as it is.
