Paneer Chaat

Ingredients:
Paneer – 100 gms, cubed
Green Chutney – 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves – 1/4 cup
Mint Leaves – little
Salt as per taste
Cumin Seeds – little
Green Chillies – 1 or 2
Lemon Juice as per taste
Chaat Masala Powder – little
Butter – little
Mango – 1, small, finely chopped
Toothpicks

Method:
1. Mix the green chutney, mint leaves, salt, cumin seeds, green chillies and coriander leaves in a bowl.
2. Add the paneer pieces and lemon juice. Mix well.
3. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
4. Heat butter in a pan over medium flame.
5. Insert a toothpick into each paneer cube and place it on the hot pan.
6. Cook on both sides for a minute or until golden and remove.
7. Transfer to a serving plate.
8. Sprinkle chaat masala powder and garnish with the mango pieces.
9. Serve at once.

Alternative Method:
Ingredients:
Paneer – 100 gms, cubed
Red Food Colour – a pinch
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – little
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl with little water.
2. Ensure the paneer pieces are well coated and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Follow steps 3 to 9 from above.
