Chicken Momos Recipe

Maida – 1 cup
Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste

For the filling:

Chicken – 1/2 cup, minced
Oil – 1 tblsp
Garlic – 1/2 tsp, chopped
Onion – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Soya Sauce – 1/4 tsp
Vinegar – 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste

1. In a bowl, mix the maida, salt and baking powder.
2. Add enough water and knead to a stiff dough.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Saute the onions and garlic for a minute or two or until onions turn soft.
5. Add the chicken and increase flame to high.
6. Simmer till the chicked is cooked.
7. Remove and transfer to a bowl.
8. Add the soya sauce, salt, black pepper powder and vinegar.
9. Mix well and keep aside.
10. Roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut into 4 inch rounds.
11. Add some of the filling to the center and seal the edges using little water.
12. Steam cook the prepared momos for about 10 minutes.
13. Remove and serve hot with chilli sauce and soya sauce.
