Ingredients:
Chana Dal - 1 tblsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Juice of 1/2 Lime
Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tblsp
Coconut - 50 gms
Green Chillies - 4
Ginger - 1 tsp, chopped
Curd - 4 tblsp
Curry Leaves - 10
For Seasoning:
Chana Dal - 1 tblsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tblsp
Dry Red Chillies - 2
Method:
1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan.
2. Add the chana dal and urad dal.
3. Fry till they turn dark brown.
4. Grind coconut, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, fried dals with a little water to a paste.
5. Heat remaining oil and fry the seasoning ingredients.
6. Add them to the ground paste and mix well.
7. Remove from heat and add beaten curd, lime juice, salt and a little water if required.
8. Mix to a chutney consistency.
9. Serve.
