Lassi is a popular and traditional Indian drink. This refreshing lassi is made using mangoes and is perfect for any occasions, especially during the summer months.
Mango – 1 cup, chopped
Curd – 4 cups
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Ice cubes as required – crushed
Water – 1 cup
Cashewnuts – 2 tblsp, coarsely powdered
Cream – 4 tblsp
Yellow Food Colour – a pinch
Mango Essence – few drops
1. Combine curd, mangoes, sugar and water in a blender.
2. Blend well for 2 minutes.
3. Transfer to a bowl.
4. Add crushed ice cubes, food colour, mango essence, cashewnuts and cream.
5. Mix well.
6. Pour into individual serving glasses.
7. Serve chilled.
