Ingredients:
Sprouted Field Beans – 2 cups, boiled for 8 to 10 minutes
Rice – 8 cups, cooked
Green Chillies – 2, chopped
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 one inch stick
Cloves – 2
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder as per taste
Salt as per taste
Water
Oil
For Garnish:
Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
Coconut – grated (if desired)
Method:
1. Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium heat.
2. Add the cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.
3. Add the green chillies, cloves and cinnamon
4. Add asafoetida, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
5. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
6. Add the beans and rice.
7. Add salt and stir to mix well.
8. Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
10. Serve hot.
