Murg Adraki (Chicken Leg with Ginger)

Ingredients:
Chicken Legs – 400 gms
Oil – 40 ml
Whole Spices – 2 tsp
Onion – 250 gms, chopped
Tomato Puree – 75 gms
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 4 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves – few
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Ginger flavoured Chicken Stock – 200 ml
Ginger Juice – 1 cup
Ginger Strips – few, to garnish

Method:
1. Clean the chicken leg.
2. Marinate it with the turmeric powder, salt and ginger juice.
3. Keep aside.
4. Heat oil in a pan.
5. Add all the whole spices.
6. Add chopped onion and saute till golden brown in colour.
7. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell disappears.
8. Mix the powdered spices and cook for 5 minutes.
9. Add the tomato puree, yogurt and cook well.
10. Add the marinated chicken legs.
11. Pour in the ginger flavoured chicken stock and bring it to a boil till chicken is tender.
12. Add the garam masala powder. Mix well.
13. Garnish with coriander leaves and ginger strips.
14. Serve hot.
