Achari Murgh Tikka Recipe

Chicken – 1/2 kg, boneless cut into cubes

For the Marinade:
Smooth Curd – 1/2 cup
Garlic – 1 tsp, ground
Ginger – 1 tsp, ground
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp, powdered
Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Lime Juice – 1 tblsp
Aniseed – 1/2 tsp, powdered
Onion Seeds – 1/2 tsp, powdered
Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp, powdered
Mustard Oil – 1 tblsp

For Garnish:
Onion Slices – few

1. Mix all the marinade ingredients to a smooth paste.
2. Add the chicken, mix well and allow to marinate for 3 hours.
3. Grill the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes at 220C. You can also roast it in an oven at 220C for 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Arrange on a serving plate.
5. Garnish with onion slices.
6. Serve with naan or roti.
