Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 3 tsp Oil
  • 8 to 12 Red Chillies halved
  • 1 to 2 tsp Black Pepper Powder adjust as desired
  • 3 to 4 Spring Onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp Roasted Peanuts

For the sauce:

  • 1 to 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chinese Rice Wine
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cornflour

Instructions

  • Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
  • Fry the chicken drumsticks for 2 to 4 minutes stirring from time to time to evenly cook.
  • Add the pepper powder, red chillies and cook for another minute.
  • Add the sauce to the pan and bring to a boil.
  • Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Add the spring onions and peanuts.
  • Mix well and serve.
