Hari Mirch Ka Maas (Spicy Lamb Curry) Recipe

Ingredients:
Lamb – 1 kg, boneless
Yogurt – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Cumin Seeds – 2 tsp, powdered
Oil – 300 ml
Onions – 1 1/4 cups, sliced
Water – 1 cup
Green Chillies – 2 cups, slit and deseeded
Garlic Cloves – 2, ground to paste
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 2 tblsp
Green Coriander – 1/4 cup, chopped

Method:
1. Marinate the lamb with yogurt, salt and cumin seeds.
2. Keep aside for an hour.
3. Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
4. Add the onions and fry to a golden brown.
5. Add the marinated lamb and water.
6. Cook covered on a low flame, stirring occasionally.
7. When the lamb is almost done, add the green chillies, garlic paste and turmeric powder.
8. Cook till the lamb is tender and dry.
9. Add the lemon juice.
10. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
