Mutton Radish Sambar
Ingredients:
Mutton – 250 gms, washed, cleaned, chopped
Radish – 2, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Green Chilli – 1
Garlic – 5 cloves
Sambar Onions – 10, peeled
Red Chilli Powder – 3 tsp
Coriander Powder – 4 tsp
Gingelly Oil – 4 tsp
Tamarind Extract – 1/2 cup
Saunf – little
Cinnamon – a small piece
Curry Leaves – few
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
2. Fry the cinnamon and saunf for 30 seconds.
3. Add the curry leaves, sambar onions, garlic, radish and mutton pieces.
4. Stir well and cook till the moisture has evaporated.
5. Add the tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder and tamarind extract.
6. Add salt and 3 cups of water.
7. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until 3 whistles.
8. Remove and open the lid once the pressure reduces.
9. Serve hot with rice.
