Radish Rice Recipe

Radish / Mullangi
Ingredients:
Rice – 1 cup, cooked
Radish – 1 cup, grated
Green Chillies – 3
Onion – 1, sliced
Tomato – 1, sliced
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Saunf – 1/4 tsp
Cinnamon – a small piece
Bay Leaf – 1
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Ghee – 1 tblsp
Mint Leaves – few, chopped
Coriander Leaves – few, chopped
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Grind together green chillies, cinnamon and saunf. Keep aside.
2. Heat ghee and oil in a pan.
3. Add bay leaf and fry for 30 seconds.
4. Add onions and tomatoes. Cook for a minute more.
5. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and stir-fry for a minute.
6. Add the radish, turmeric powder and salt.
7. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
8. Add rice and stir well to mix all the ingredients.
9. Garnish with mint leaves and coriander leaves.
10. Serve.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
