Makhani Seekh Kabab Masala

Ingredients:
For the Kebab:
Minced Lamb – 500 gms
Egg – 1, whisked
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Green Chillies – 2, finely chopped
Red Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger – 1 tsp, chopped
Garam Masala Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Refined Oil

For Gravy:
Oil – 2 tblsp
Onion – 1, chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tblsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Green Chillies – 2, sliced
Tomato Puree – 1 1/2 cups
Lime Juice – 1 tblsp
Butter – 2 tblsp
Double Cream – 1/2 cup

Method:
1. Combine all the kebab ingredients, except oil, in a bowl.
2. Shape the mixture into balls.
3. Fix the balls on to skewers, shaping them into 2 inch long kebabs along the length of the skewers.
4. Roast kebabs in a preheated oven at 180C for 7 to 8 minutes.
5. Remove and baste with oil.
6. Keep it in the oven again for 3 to 4 minutes.
7. Remove the kebabs off skewers and keep aside.
8. To make the gravy, heat oil in a kadai.
9. Add onion and saute over moderate heat till golden brown.
10. Add ginger garlic paste and the masala powders and salt.
11. Stir-fry for a few minutes and carefully add the kebabs.
12. Stir gently for 3 to 4 minutes.
13. Add the green chillies, tomato puree and lime juice.
14. Stir again for a few minutes.
15. Add butter and pour in cream.
16. Remove from heat.
17. Give it a quick stir and garnish with coriander leaves.
18. Serve hot
