Spinach Chicken Masala

Ingredients:
Chicken – 1/2 kg
Spinach (Arai Keerai) – 2 bunches
Onion – 1 cup
Tomato – 1 cup
Green Chilli – 5
Turmeric Powder – 2 tsp
Dhaniya Powder – 3 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Bay Leaf – 1
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 1
Garam Masala Powder – 2 tsp
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves

Method:
1. Cut and clean the spinach.
2. Chop nicely and keep aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, green chilli.
4. Fry for a minute.
5. Add onion and tomatoes.
6. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add spinach leaves and fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
8. Add the chicken and add little water.
9. Allow it to boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
10. Add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala powder and salt.
11. Let it boil for 2-4 minutes.
12. Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
13. Serve hot.
