Spicy Shredded Chicken (Murgh Ki Mokul)

Spicy Shredded Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg, cut into pieces, boiled, deboned, shredded
Ghee – 1 1/4 cup
Onions – 4, large and chopped
Ginger – 1 tsp, ground
Garlic – 1 tsp, ground
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp, ground
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Yogurt – 1 1/4 cups
Almonds – 10, blanched and ground
Coconut – 1 tblsp, desiccated
Salt to taste
Green Cardamoms – 1/2 tsp, powdered
Green Chillies – 4, slit
Green Coriander – 1 tblsp, chopped
Rose Water – 1 tblsp

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan over moderate flame.
2. Saute the onions till light brown.
3. Add garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
4. Cook for a few minutes till the ghee starts to float to the top.
5. Add almonds, coconut, chicken and yogurt.
6. Reduce flame to low and cook till gravy thickens.
7. Add salt, cardamom powder and mix.
8. Garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves.
9. Just before serving, sprinkle rose water.
10. Serve.
