Murgh Do Piaza

Ingredients:
Chicken – 400 gms, chopped, pricked with a fork or small incisions made
Onions – 4, cut into rings
Plain Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Tomatoes – 1, finely chopped
Coriander Paste – 1 to 2 tblsp (adjust as required)
Green Chillies – 2, small, finely chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Ghee – 1 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped, to garnish

Method:
1. Combine the yogurt, coriander paste and onions in a bowl.
2. Marinate the chicken in this for an hour, covered.
3. Heat a pan over moderate flame.
4. Add the marinatd chicken pieces with the marinade and cook, covered, for 10 minutes or till almost done.
5. Add all the other ingredients and cook till chicken is well coated with the gravy over low flame.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
7. Serve hot with rice or roti.
