Sesame Noodles

This easy to make Sesame Noodles is ideal for a simple, no-frills lunch or dinner. Feel free to add vegetables of choice.

Sesame Noodles

Ingredients:
Plain or Egg Noodles – 125 gms, cooked as per packet instructions
Spring Onions – 1/2 cup, finely sliced
Peanut Oil – 1/2 tblsp
Ginger – 3/4 tblsp, finely chopped
Garlic – 1 clove, crushed
Sesame Oil – 3/4 tblsp
Soy Sauce – 3/4 tblsp
Balsamic Vinegar – 3/4 tblsp
Sugar – 1/2 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Peanuts – 1/4 cup, lightly fried (optional)

Optional:
Green Capsicum – 1/2 cup, chopped
Onions – 1/2 cup, chopped
Carrots – 1/4 cup, chopped
Tomatoes – 1/4 cup, chopped

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
2. Add the ginger and garlic.
3. Fry for 30 to 45 seconds.
4. Remove and transfer to a bowl.
5. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt.
6. Whisk well and add the noodles.
7. Add spring onions and toss well to mix.
8. Keep aside for 45 to 60 minutes.
9. Garnish with peanuts and spring onions.
10. Serve.
