Chinese Fried Rice
Shrimps – 50 gms, peeled, deveined
Rice – 1 1/2 cups, cooked
Chicken – 100 gms, diced
Egg – 1
Oil – 2 tblsp
Pepper Powder as per taste
Salt as per taste
Spring Onions – 2, finely sliced
Cornstarch – 1/2 tsp
Sesame Oil – 1/2 tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tblsp

1. Beat the egg with 1/4 tsp salt and 3/4 tsp oil. Keep aside.
2. Combine the cornstarch and 1/4 tsp pepper powder.
3. Marinate the shrimps in this for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium flame.
5. Fry the shrimps and keep aside.
6. To the same pan, add some more oil and scramble the eggs.
7. Add the rice and stir-fry for a minute.
8. Add the chicken, shrimp, soy sauce, pepper powder and sesame oil.
9. Toss well to mix.
10. Garnish with spring onions.
11. Serve hot.

Tip: Instead of chicken, you can also use roast pork or ham.
