Tangy Lamb Chops Recipe

Lamb Chops – 500 gms
Oil for basting
Lime Juice – 1 tblsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
White Pepper Powder – 1/2 tblsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Lime Juice – 2 1/2 tsp

For Marinade:
Cream – 2 tsp
Hung Curd – 1/2 cup, whisked
Mint Chutney – 1/2 to 3/4 cup
Maize Flour – 1 tsp
Garlic Paste – 1/2 tblsp
Ginger Paste – 1/2 tblsp
Unripe Papaya Paste – 1 1/2 tblsp
Kasuri Methi – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 3/4 tsp or as per taste

1. Mix cumin powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder and lime juice.
2. Rub into lamb chops and keep aside for 1 hour.
3. Mix cream, yogurt, mint chutney and maize flour.
4. Add the remaining ingredients for marinade and whisk till well blended.
5. Rub into chops and set aside for 3 hours.
6. Skewer the chops and roast in a oven at 180C for 10 minutes.
7. Remove and baste with oil.
8. Roast again for 5 minutes in the oven.
9. Remove from skewers.
10. Sprinkle with lime juice.
11. Serve.
