Sengottai Meen Varuval (Fish Fry)

Ingredients:
Fish – 1 cup
Dhaniya Powder – 2 tsp
Pepper – 4 tsp
Toor Dal – 3 tsp
Bengal Gram Dal – 3 tsp
Red Chilli – 8 to 9
Curry Leaves – 1/4 cup
Jeera – 4 tsp
Lemon Juice
Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
Egg – 1
Oil

Method:
1. Beat the egg nicely and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Fry toor dal, bengal gram dal, jeera, red chilli, pepper, curry leaves and dhaniya powder.
4. Fry nicely for a minute or two.
5. Remove and grind it in a mixer to a coarse powder adding little salt.
6. In a bowl add the fish and pour lime juice.
7. Add pepper powder and little salt.
8. Add the beaten egg and mix nicely.
9. Keep this aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
10. Heat oil in a pan.
11. Roll the fish in the ground powder and fry in oil for 1 to 2 minutes or until cooked.
12. Remove and serve.
