Chicken and Mushroom Quiche Recipe

For the Pastry:
Maida – 1 cup
Butter – 2 tblsp
Ghee – 2 tblsp
Salt as per taste

For the Filling:
Chicken Pieces – 1 cup, shredded and boiled
Mushrooms – 2 to 3, cut into small pieces
Tomato – 1, seeds removed and cut into small pieces
Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Eggs – 2
Salt as per taste

1. To prepare the filling, beat the eggs and add all the ingredients and keep aside.
2. Knead all the ingredients for the pastry into a dough.
3. Add as little water to form the dough.
4. Roll out into a circle and fit a pastry mould so that the sides are covered nicely.
5. Bake in a preheated oven for 7-8 minutes at 160C.
6. Remove and add the filling and return to the oven and bake again till the filling sets.
7. Serve hot.
