Barbecued Fish

Ingredients:
Seer Fish – 500 gms (or any other round fish)
Lime – 1/2
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Oil – 4 tblsp

For the Masala Paste:
Small Onion – 1
Garlic – 4 cloves
Whole Dried Red Chillies – 4
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Cashewnuts – 1 tblsp, coarsely crushed
Cinnamon – 1 one inch stick
Green Cardamom – 2 pods

For Garnish:
Lime – 1, cut into 4 wedges

Method:
1. Clean the fish and cut into 1 1/2 inch square fillets.
2. Wash well and pat dry.
3. Smear the fish with lime juice and salt.
4. Set aside for 3 hours in the fridge.
5. Grind the masala paste ingredients finely, adding a little water if required.
6.  Mix yogurt into the masala paste and marinate the fish for 2 hours in the fridge.
7. After 2 hours, remove from the fridge and bring it to room temperature.
8. Barbeque the fish for 3 minutes on each side..
9. When almost done, brush it with oil.
10. Keep it flat on a serving dish and Garnish with lime wedges.
11. Serve immediately.
