Fish in a Mild Coconut Curry

Ingredients:
Pomfrets – 2, medium
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tblsp
Green Chillies – 2
Onion – 1, medium and finely chopped
Tomato – 1, medium and finely chopped
Coconut Milk – 2 1/2 cups
Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblsp, chopped
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Cut each pomfret horizontally into 2 inch thick slices.
2. Marinate them in a mixture of salt, ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder for 20 minutes.
3. Heat the oil in a pan amd saute the green chillies and onion till the onion changes colour.
4. Add the tomato and cook till soft.
5. Add the pomfret slices and cook each side for 2 minutes.
6. Add the coconut milk, cumin powder and salt to taste.
7. Bring to a boil.
8. Remove from heat.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
10. Serve hot with rice.
