Sindhi Sai Bhaji
- 2 Carrot chopped
- 2 Green Capsicum finely chopped
- 2 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Cabbage chopped
- 2 Potato chopped
- 2 Brinjal chopped
- 2 Tomato halved or quartered
- 2 Okra / Bhindi finely chopped
- 1 bunch Spinach chopped
- handful Coriander Leaves: chopped
- 2 cup Green Gram Dal
- 1 cup Chana Dal
- 10 Green Chillies
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 5 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 5 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Powder
- as per taste Salt
- Heat oil in a pressure pan over moderate flame.
- Add all the chopped vegetables, spinach, green gram dal, and chana dal.
- Pour enough water and mix well.
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garlic cloves, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles and allow it to cool.
- Open the pan and mash or blend all the ingredients well.
- Heat ghee in a small frying pan and fry the asafoetida powder.
- Pour the tempering over the bhaji.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
Can I skip any vegetables in the Sindhi Sai Bhaji recipe?
