One of the world’s most loved drinks, Scotch had been reportedly witnessing rough weather over the past few years with exports declining across major global markets. However, recent statistics portray an optimistic future. In 2015, the value of Scotch whisky exports reached £3.86 billion, representing a decline of 2.4% from £3.95bn in 2014. Compared to a 7% decline from 2013 to 2014, the recent numbers indicate a slowing decline and a market that is picking up.
